2.3 billion Riyals in Support Expenses During the First Half of 2024
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) confirmed the continued support for employing Saudis working in private sector establishments within the "Employment Support" product, noting that the support expenses provided through the product reached 2.3 billion riyals during the first half of 2024, benefiting about 220,000 citizens during the same period.
The product aims to enhance professional sustainability and the participation of the nation's sons and daughters in various fields and activities of the labor market, and to achieve job stability in private sector establishments. The financial support percentage ranges between 30% and 50%, with a maximum of 3,000 riyals. Establishments can submit support requests through the fund's website via the link: HRDF.org.sa.
Through its programs and products, the fund seeks to continue developing and enhancing the skills of the nation's sons and daughters, increasing their participation in the labor market, and encouraging the private sector to contribute to localization. Additionally, it aims to strengthen partnerships with relevant entities in training, employing, and empowering national cadres, increasing their competitiveness and sustainability, which contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in human capacity development and the labor market strategy.
It is worth noting that the fund's strategy, launched in the first quarter of last year, has contributed to enhancing the benefit of individuals and establishments from the fund's programs and services. It aims to achieve three main objectives: enhancing the development of the national human capital to meet the evolving labor market requirements, improving the relationship between supply and demand in the labor market, and enabling and sustaining employment in the private sector.
