This initiative aligns with Vision 2030 by promoting exceptional localization of leadership capable of creative and innovative planning.

The Hadaf Leadership Program is one of the Human Resources Development Fund initiatives to support private sector establishments in developing their leadership, as part of efforts to achieve the vision of Saudi Arabia 2030. The program is offered in collaboration with Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.

Steps for Nomination:

  1. The establishment nominates the trainee through the (program) website.
  2. The establishment acknowledges and commits to the program's specific conditions through the (program) website.


Admission Procedures:

  1. The academy's management sorts the nominees and conducts personal interviews and any other tests deemed appropriate by the academy.
  2. The academy's management contacts the nominees directly to inform them of subsequent procedures.
  3. The final list of accepted trainees is announced, and their employers are informed of the program implementation dates.

Registration for the program is done through the establishment's account on the electronic services of the Human Resources Development Fund. The establishment nominates the trainee via the registration page.

First Stage – Initial Direct Training:
Five days of direct training are conducted, during which learning application projects are distributed. This stage focuses on building leadership competencies for team management.

Second Stage – Application Phase:
After completing the first stage, the trainee returns to their workplace for 4 to 6 weeks to apply what they have learned and work on the learning project.

Third Stage – Second Direct Training:
Five days of direct training focused on business leadership competencies.

Fourth Stage – Project Discussion:
This stage includes a day for presenting and discussing projects and a day for the graduation ceremony and awarding program completion certificates.

Fifth Stage – Measuring Training Impact:
After completing the training program, trainees are monitored, and the impact of the training in the work environment is evaluated.

There is no specific time for registration, it is possible to apply to the Program throughout the year.

The trainee receives a certificate of completion of the training Program by the Training Authority that provides the Program (Cranfield University, UK).

The e-training is offered remotely through virtual training rooms via Zoom Program. The duration of the training is five days for the first meeting and five days for the second meeting at a rate of eight hours per day.

The e-training will be held in virtual halls.

Yes, the trainee will receive a certificate of completion of the Program from the training authority.

Due to the importance of the Program and the relevance of its parts, the trainee must attend the full training days.

There is no upper limit as long as the conditions are met by the candidates. 

  1. Must be a Saudi national.
  2. Must be currently employed in a private sector establishment.
  3. Must have at least a bachelor's degree.
  4. Must have a minimum of 5 years of work experience. Out of the 5 years of work experience, at least 2 years must be in a supervisory or managerial role.
  5. Must be proficient in English for programs offered in English.

The duration of the Program is 12 weeks.

Currently, the live training takes place in Riyadh and Jeddah, and it will also be offered in Dammam soon. The program has also introduced a distance learning track for the program.

The program is one of the initiatives by the Human Resources Development Fund to qualify and develop national talents. Therefore, the program is offered free of charge to Saudi citizens.

Other sectors cannot benefit from the program as it is only directed to private sector establishments.
