A memorandum between the Human Resources Development Fund and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences to support the training of 11,000 citizens in the exhibitions and conferences sector

The Human Resources Development Fund and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences concluded a memorandum of cooperation aimed at supporting the training and empowerment of 11,000 male and female citizens in the exhibitions and conferences sector.

The memorandum was signed by the Fund’s Deputy Director General for Business, Mr. Firas bin Abdulaziz Aba Al-Khail, and the acting CEO of the Authority, Mr. Amjad bin Issam Shaker.

The memorandum establishes strategic cooperation between the Fund and the Authority in order to stimulate, develop and improve the skills of national cadres to work in the exhibitions and conferences sector, and raise the awareness of establishments operating in the sector about the Fund’s programs and services and the mechanism for benefiting from them.

According to the memorandum: The two parties will work to hold workshops with the participation of sector facilities to introduce programs and initiatives that support the localization of the exhibitions and conferences sector, and to hold periodic job meetings in order to promote localization and enhance sustainability.

Areas of cooperation include national cadres benefiting from the Fund’s programs provided in the areas of training support and on-the-job training, electronic training for sector professions in line with the needs of the labor market, supporting recruitment processes in related professions and activities, and developing leadership skills in small and medium enterprises in the exhibition sector. And conferences.
