On Sunday, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, His Excellency Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, led the launch of the Unified National Employment Platform ”Jadarat”. The event was attended by senior officials, including the Minister of Tourism, Ahmed bin Aqil Al-Khatib, and the Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, alongside other officials and experts with a shared interest in the labor market.

During his speech, the minister spoke about the importance of leadership's support in enabling and developing the nation’s talent. He emphasized that this new platform, Jadarat, is part of a broader effort to make it easier for job seekers to find work by standardizing and verifying their information. This initiative, based on a decision by the Council of Ministers, aims to streamline the job search process, improve data quality, and ensure that opportunities in both the public and private sectors are more accessible.

The minister also highlighted how Jadarat fits into the larger vision for the country’s future. By offering a seamless digital platform for career development, Jadarat helps in advancing the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in boosting the participation of Saudi nationals in the workforce.

Al-Rajhi expressed pride in the progress made so far, noting that collaborative efforts have led to a reduction in the unemployment rate to 7.6% and increased Saudi employment in the private sector to around 2.3 million people.

His excellency also said: "We are extremely pleased with the efforts exerted HRDF”, highlighting that they had invested over 3.79 SR billion in programs that support employment, training, and development in just the first half of the year. These efforts have benefited over 100,000 entities and resulted in recruiting more than 153,000 young Saudis in the private sector during the same period, he added.

Al-Rajhi reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to working with all partners to create a work environment that promotes job stability and supports the nation’s sustainable development goals.

Turki Al-Jaawini, DG of HRDF, mentioned during his keynote speech, that Jadarat was developed with the goal of unifying and simplifying the job search process for Saudi nationals, making it the go-to platform for employment in both public and private sectors. He added that, during its creation the team took into consideration successful examples from around the world, gathered feedback from key stakeholders, and organized workshops to ensure the platform meets the needs of both job seekers and employers.

Al-Jaawini mentioned that, even during its trial phase, Jadarat has already made a significant impact by helping over 114,000 people find jobs and registering more than 48,000 public and private organizations on the platform.

He explained that Jadarat is designed to make job hunting simpler and more effective by providing a unified digital platform where all employment services are accessible. This, in turn, supports the broader national efforts to achieve the goals set out in Saudi Vision 2030, he added.

Al-Jaawini emphasized that the platform prioritizes fairness, transparency, and precision in matching individuals’ skills with job opportunities, offering personalized career suggestions to help Saudis find work that fits their career paths and the needs of employers.

The event also featured a video presentation that detailed the platform's goals, services, and how it works to connect job seekers with employers. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the minister and Al-Jaawini recognized and honored the partners who contributed to the platform’s success.
