Support for Employing 169,000 Citizens in Q3 2024
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) has announced its contribution to supporting the employment of 169,000 male and female citizens during the third quarter of 2024. The total amount spent on training and empowerment support programs during the same period reached 1.4 billion riyals.
The number of citizens supported by HRDF for employment in private sector establishments during the first nine months of 2024 reached approximately 294,000. Additionally, 1.7 million male and female citizens benefited from all of HRDF's programs and products during the same period.
The number of establishments benefiting from HRDF's services and products since the beginning of 2024 until the end of Q3 reached about 139,000 establishments across various regions of the Kingdom, working in all vital sectors. The total amount spent on training, guidance, and empowerment support programs provided by HRDF in the first nine months of 2024 amounted to approximately 5.48 billion riyals.
HRDF is keen to keep pace with the developmental renaissance that the Kingdom is witnessing in all fields, along with the accompanying evolution and changes in the business sector's needs and the demand for skills of the national workforce. It is continuously working on developing and enhancing the skills of the nation's youth, increasing their participation in the labor market, motivating the private sector to contribute to Saudization, and strengthening partnerships with relevant entities to train, employ, and empower national workforce, boosting their competitiveness and sustainability in the job market.
