The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) have entered into a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing collaboration in human capital development, empowering and qualifying national talent, and localizing jobs in the communications and IT sector in alignment with labor market needs. 

The agreement was signed by HRDF’s Executive Director of Business Development, Eng. Sultan bin Khalaf Al-Rashidi, and the Director General of Future Jobs at MCIT, Bandar Al-Duwais. 

This partnership focuses on joint cooperation between the ministry and HRDF in providing training, empowerment, and career guidance for national talents, organizing workshops, and participating in exhibitions, conferences, and marketing campaigns related to human capital development in the communications and IT sector. 

The memorandum outlines coordination efforts in developing digital skills and capabilities, designing and launching new initiatives related to human capital development, and leveraging previous experiences, studies, and labor market data analysis. It also aims to ensure that businesses operating in the communications and IT sector benefit from HRDF’s support and empowerment programs. Furthermore, the agreement emphasizes the commitment to executing programs with high quality to achieve their objectives, forming a joint task force to oversee implementation, and holding regular meetings based on industry developments and operational needs.
