NLO Organizes a Workshop for Universities and Colleges
The National Labor Observatory (NLO), affiliated with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), held a workshop on Tuesday titled "Data Quality of Saudi Universities and Colleges." The event gathered representatives from various public and private universities and colleges to introduce the observatory and review the Universities Graduates Report. The workshop aimed to strengthen partnerships, establish frameworks for future collaboration, and promote data integration as a key driver of the Saudi labor market.
Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Gharawi, the Executive Director of the National Labor Observatory, opened the workshop by welcoming participants from universities and colleges across the Kingdom. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the importance of improving data quality in the observatory's reports and products. He noted that this enhancement is crucial for aligning academic programs and plans with current and future labor market demands, supporting the leadership's aspirations to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The workshop highlighted the observatory's ongoing efforts to assess and enhance data quality. It also showcased the critical role of universities and colleges in elevating the quality of labor market data through the presentation of the NLO’s Data Quality Report.
