The Board of Directors of the National Development Fund has approved the new strategy of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) "Hadaf".

The Board of Directors of the National Development Fund has approved the new strategy for the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), which aims to meet the changes and challenges facing the labor market, improve its efficiency, and keep pace with developments while considering the needs and priorities related to various sectors. The strategy also aims to develop training, employment, and empowerment programs targeting national cadres to contribute to achieving the goals of Vision 2030 and the labor market strategy.

Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juaeeni, the General Manager of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), stated that the new strategy will contribute, with the help of Allah, to supporting the development of the national human capital, ensuring sustainable employment, and encouraging the private sector to contribute to localization efforts, in line with the aspirations of our wise leadership. He emphasized that the new strategy aligns with the efforts of relevant entities in supporting the training, qualification, employment, and empowerment of national cadres, enhancing their competitiveness and efficiency in the labor market, and contributing to the development of their cognitive and professional skills.

Al-Juaeeni affirmed that the fund works in coordination with the human resources system and the private sector to keep pace with any transformations or changes in the labor market. This led to the launch of the new strategy, which focuses on three main objectives: supporting the development of human resources to meet the needs of the labor market, improving the alignment between job supply and demand, and enabling sustainable employment for groups facing challenges in entering or remaining in the labor market.

To achieve these objectives, the programs have been redesigned to include eight main programs with products designed to meet the needs of beneficiaries and provide a comprehensive beneficiary experience. These programs include training support, on-the-job training, e-learning, career guidance, job matching, income support, empowerment, and assistance for job seekers, which fall under three main axes: guidance, training, and empowerment.

The new strategy of the fund takes into account the classification of sectors according to levels of growth, productivity, and localization, focusing on priority sectors. It also involves redesigning support and empowerment programs and initiatives to align with the requirements and needs of the labor market.

The new strategy supports the alignment between specialties and market needs, addresses gaps in the skills and productivity of the national workforce, and enhances the efficiency and contribution of national cadres to private sector work.

Al-Juaeeni further emphasized that the new strategy contributes to enhancing and developing the relationship and partnership with the private sector as a key axis for development and sustainability, through cooperation in various areas that serve the labor market and contribute to its growth and prosperity. The fund is keen on continuous communication and interaction with private sector representatives in building its strategy, programs, and services.

The fund offers several initiatives and programs to support the training, employment, and empowerment of citizens and support facilities in all economic activities and sectors. HRDF is committed to continuously improving and developing these programs, and increasing the number of beneficiaries to empower the sons and daughters of our beloved country to enhance their capabilities and skills.
