66 Training and Development Workshops at Liqaat Jazan
Today, Tuesday, the activities of the "Liqaat Jazan" organized by the Human Resources Development Fund, began. The event includes 66 training and development workshops to empower and qualify the national workforce across five professional tracks.
The meet-up is being held at Jazan University from December 10-12, 2024. The workshops directed at students cover various topics, including test-taking strategies, cooperative training, goal setting, creating presentations, and volunteer work.
Workshops for job seekers address topics such as preparing and developing resumes, ideas for remote work, time management during job searches, identifying strengths and skills, effective use of body language and voice in interviews, and how to utilize job platforms and networks effectively. They also cover self-marketing, benefiting from job fairs, learning modern job market skills, discovering job opportunities, and the importance of freelancing and volunteer work in entering the job market.
For entrepreneurs and freelancers, the workshops discuss how to start a project and innovate, feasibility studies, exploring the world of entrepreneurship, turning ideas into opportunities and projects, starting an entrepreneurial venture, developing a vision and mission, and creating awareness of excellent customer service culture in entrepreneurial projects. Digital marketing strategies, effective negotiation skills, and creative marketing for ideas and products are also covered.
Workshops for employers focus on recruitment strategies and employee empowerment, secrets of enhancing customer loyalty, on-the-job training, motivating employees to accept and support change, and building effective teams. Meanwhile, workshops for employees discuss teamwork, effective interaction with others, the importance of personal skills in career success, the role of professional certifications in professional excellence, managing work pressure, professionalism at work, and improving adaptability to the job market.
