The Cooperation in Training National Workforce with 16 British Universities

His Excellency, the Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juwaieen, met at the Fund's headquarters in Riyadh with Professor Syed Steve Smith, a champion of international education, and his delegation from 16 British universities, along with senior representatives from the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and Times Higher Education (THE). The meeting was attended by several leaders of HRDF. 

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency, the Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund, welcomed the head of the British delegation and his companions, affirming the Fund's keenness to enhance international cooperation and exchange experiences in the field of developing and enhancing the capabilities and skills of human capital. This cooperation aims to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the labor market in both friendly countries. 

Al-Juwaieen highlighted that HRDF plays a pivotal role in empowering the Saudi workforce, enhancing its role and contribution to Saudi Vision 2030, and developing human resource capabilities to keep pace with the comprehensive development renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom in various fields. 

The meeting reviewed the transformation journey and HRDF's strategy, its role in investing in and developing human capital, improving the relationship between supply and demand in the labor market, enabling employment and its sustainability, and enhancing partnership with partners from both the public and private sectors. 

The meeting also discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries and reviewed the most important modern practices and global experiences in the field of developing skills and capabilities of human resources, in line with the Kingdom's targets in human capacity development."
