Omar Mohammed Al-Hussein Al-sharif
Executive Director of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and CybersecurityMr. Omar Al-Sharif serves as the Executive Director of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity since 2024. He leads the design of governance frameworks and the development of policies and methodologies for risk management in alignment with national regulations and standards. He also oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing institutional performance and ensuring integration with relevant systems and frameworks.
Mr. Al-Sharif brings over 22 years of professional experience, during which he has held several leadership and advisory roles — most notably as Executive Director of Human Resources at the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and as Advisor to the Fund’s General Manager. His extensive practical experience since 2003 spans management, finance, institutional development, and strategic transformation.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, in addition to several specialized executive programs in leadership, finance, accounting, and project management.
