HRDF Signed an Agreement to Develop Career Guidance Platform
The Human Resources Development Fund has announced the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with Tamkeen Technologies and "Skill Lab" to develop technological services on the comprehensive career guidance platform and utilize advanced artificial intelligence tools, reflecting on enhancing the career guidance services provided to beneficiaries.
The memorandum was signed by Mr. Firas Abdulaziz Aba Alkhail, Deputy Director-General of the Fund for Business, Dr. Mohammed bin Faisal Al-Sheibi, CEO of Tamkeen Technologies, and Mr. Ulrich Scharf, CEO of Skill Lab.
This memorandum, signed on the sidelines of the Human Capabilities Initiative conference, aims to collaborate in developing the comprehensive career guidance platform and using state-of-the-art artificial intelligence tools to provide career guidance services to individuals. These services include self-discovery by identifying inclinations, capabilities, suitable specializations, appropriate professions, and professional information about various sectors.
Moreover, it aims to assist youth in exploring the job market, understanding educational and training opportunities at different stages of life, and providing a diverse range of self-learning and online training to help them acquire essential skills for entering the job market, such as resume writing and job interview training.
It's worth noting that the career guidance platform aims to empower beneficiaries to make better educational and career choices by building an integrated system of guidance and career counseling services. It also aims to raise awareness among them about the essential skills required in the job market, future professions, provide career consultation services, and support beneficiaries in planning their career paths. The platform targets students, job seekers, and employees.
