The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), known as "Hadaf," has signed a training support agreement with Sami Vejaj Aero Manufacturing Company to train, qualify, and employ national cadres in the aircraft structures manufacturing field. This initiative aims to meet the industrial sector's need for qualified and trained national competencies, contributing to achieving localization, sustainability, and growth of the local industry in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The support agreement is a realization of a memorandum of understanding previously signed by the Fund with the Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company (Dussur) and aims to enhance joint efforts between the Fund and the Ministries of Investment, Industry, Mineral Resources, and the General Authority for Military Industries.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Feras bin Abdulaziz Abalkhail, Deputy Director-General of the Fund, and Mr. Olivier Sergeant, CEO of Sami Vejaj Aero Manufacturing Company, in the presence of Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Ja'wini, Director-General of the Fund, Dr. Raed Al-Rais, CEO of Dussur, and Mr. Jean-Claude Millet, CEO of the French company Vejaj.

The agreement stipulates the Fund's participation in the costs of implementing training programs both inside and outside the Kingdom to empower and employ Saudi citizens in professions that match training specialties with labor market needs.

In joint coordination, both parties agreed to establish a working team to monitor the implementation stages and clauses of the agreement and to expand its implementation to meet the human capital needs of Sami Vejaj Aero Manufacturing Company.

It's worth mentioning that "Hadaf" offers several initiatives and programs to support the training, employment, and empowerment of citizens and to support establishments in all activities, sectors, and professions. These include the Employment Support Program, the Workforce Training Program (Tamheer), the Directed Transportation Support Program, the Nine Tenths Platform, the Professional Certification Support Program, the Working Women Transportation Support Program (Wusool), the Childcare Support Program (Qurra), the Strategic Partnerships Institutes Support Program, the National Electronic Training Platform (Darb), the Guidance and Career Counseling Portal (Subul), and other support initiatives aimed at localizing various sectors in the labor market.
