The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development yesterday (Wednesday), aiming to establish a strategic partnership to empower nonprofit organizations to attract and retain workforce talents through joint initiatives and tools provided in collaboration between the two parties.

The memorandum was signed by Mr. Firas Abdulaziz AbalKhail, Deputy General Manager for Business at the HRDF, and Engineer Abdulmohsen AlTurki, Vice President for Growth Sector.

The memorandum seeks to enhance the efficiency of the nonprofit sector's operations and workforce, achieve social security, improve the quality of life, and work on nationalizing jobs and increasing the percentage of employees in the nonprofit sector, a role assigned to the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development. Meanwhile, the HRDF will support initiatives for qualification, training, and employment and provide facilities according to the approved mechanisms.

The memorandum of understanding between the HRDF and the National Center focuses on cooperation in three main areas: launching joint initiatives to support the development of national talents in line with the HRDF's programs and regulations, launching initiatives to raise awareness about nonprofit sector professions, and developing a joint marketing plan to promote nonprofit sector professions and utilize the sector's benefits from the HRDF's programs and services.

Both parties emphasized the importance of holding regular job fairs to enhance nationalization in nonprofit sector professions and working with relevant entities in the sector to develop programs and services that attract and develop national human resources in the nonprofit sector. They also highlighted the joint coordination to launch joint programs and initiatives to support skills building for job seekers in the nonprofit sector through employment and training programs that positively impact the nationalization and sustainability of the workforce in the sector.
