National Labor Observatory Reviews Labor Market for April
The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has released a detailed publication on the Saudi labor market in the private sector for April 2024. The report provides comprehensive statistics, including the total number of workers in the private sector up to the end of the month, and a breakdown of Saudi and non-Saudi workers by gender. Additionally, it highlights the net growth in Saudi jobs and the number of new entrants to the private sector in April.
The report indicates a rise in the total number of private sector workers, reaching approximately 11,274,689 in April, signifying ongoing growth in job creation within the private sector.
According to the report, the total number of Saudi workers in the private sector in April was 2,356,829. This includes 1,386,593 Saudi men and 970,236 Saudi women. In contrast, the total number of non-Saudi workers in the private sector was 8,917,860, consisting of 8,552,960 men and 364,900 women.
The report also highlights the net growth of jobs for Saudis in April, with 18,535 citizens joining the private sector for the first time.
