National Labor Observatory Reviews Labor Market for June
The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has released a detailed report on the Saudi private sector labor market for June 2024. The report covers the total number of private sector employees at the end of the month, including detailed figures on Saudi and expatriate employees, broken down by gender. It also highlights the net growth of Saudi jobs and the number of newly joined and first-time employees in the private sector for June.
The report indicates an increase in the total number of private sector employees, reaching 11,409,348 in June. This reflects the private sector's attractiveness and its continuous growth in job creation.
According to the report, the total number of Saudi employees in the private sector in June was 2,340,877, with 1,383,079 male citizens and 957,798 female citizens. In contrast, the total number of expatriate employees in the private sector was 9,068,471, with 8,692,051 male expatriates and 376,420 female expatriates.
The report also highlights the net growth of Saudi jobs for June, with 16,598 Saudis joining the private sector for the first time.
