National Labor Observatory Reviews Labor Market for August
The National Labor Observatory (NLO) has issued a detailed publication with figures on the Saudi private sector labor market for August 2024. The report reviews the total number of workers in the private sector at the end of the month, detailing the number of Saudi and non-Saudi workers, including males and females, as well as the net growth in Saudi jobs and the number of new entrants into the private sector in August.
The report indicates that the total number of workers in the private sector rose to 11,572,408 in August, reflecting continued job growth in the sector. According to the report, the total number of Saudi workers in the private sector during August was 2,369,828, with 1,397,146 Saudi males and 972,682 Saudi females. In comparison, the total number of expatriate workers in the private sector was 9,202,580, including 8,812,758 males and 389,822 females.
The report also highlights the net growth in Saudi jobs for August, with 37,009 new Saudi workers joining the private sector for the first time.
