Human Resources Development Fund signed a support and training agreement with the Saudi Technical Institute for Electricity Services, with the aim of empowering and qualifying 1,500 job seekers in a number of qualitative specialties in providing electricity services and employing them in private sector establishments. 

The agreement comes within the framework of the Human Resources Development HRDF's efforts to train national forces and provide them with skills and capabilities in qualitative and specialized jobs, and to enhance the competitiveness of national cadres and the level of their participation in the labor market. 

The agreement aims to train and qualify national forces in a number of qualitative disciplines, including occupational and environmental safety technology, renewable energy technology, maintenance of overhead transmission lines, inspection of electric meters, in addition to a number of technical and supervisory disciplines in several fields, according to the vocational training path to support job seekers through training ending with employment. 

The agreement also stressed the commitment to implement the programs to ensure their quality and achieve their objectives, and to form a working group from both parties to follow up the implementation of their provisions, and to hold periodic meetings according to developments and work needs.
