HRDF Achieves the "Silver Level" in the King Abdulaziz Quality Award

The Human Resources Development Fund has achieved the "Silver Level" in the seventh edition of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in the government sector category. This national recognition of institutional excellence honors the Fund for its outstanding performance, enhancing its competitiveness and the quality of services provided to beneficiaries and customers. 

The Director General of HRDF, Mr. Turki bin Abdullah Al-Jawini, explained that this national recognition, which bears the name of the founder of this blessed nation—may God rest his soul—is a great source of pride and honor. He added that the award reaffirms HRDF's commitment to applying the best international and national practices and standards in quality and institutional excellence. This commitment aims to enhance operational efficiency and achieve sustainable results that contribute to HRDF's goals of building a sustainable national workforce in the Kingdom, in alignment with Vision 2030. 

Al-Jawini further stated that HRDF continuously strives to develop operational processes and build capabilities by adopting policies and procedures that meet global standards and align with the principles of continuous improvement and quality systems. This approach contributes to the efficient and effective execution of tasks, achieving HRDF's strategic objectives, and strengthening its pillars of institutional excellence. It also aims to meet the aspirations and satisfaction of beneficiaries of HRDF's services and products. 

The journey of institutional excellence at the Fund has gone through several stages of development and improvement in policies, work procedures, and enhancing operational efficiency. This was achieved by implementing quality systems and adhering to best practices and standards, which led to obtaining several international certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 45001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 44001, ISO 30401, ISO 10015, ISO 10001, ISO 10002, ISO 10003, ISO 10004, and ISO 21502. Additionally, HRDF has won numerous local and international awards in various fields, including customer experience, social responsibility, call centers, and customer complaint resolution. 

HRDF has also achieved international recognition for institutional excellence at the "4-star" level from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). This makes it the first entity among development funds and banks under the umbrella of the National Development Fund to achieve this level of recognition and the second entity in the Kingdom under the updated EFQM model. 

The award serves to achieve business excellence by providing a comprehensive framework for coordinating and managing all performance improvement activities. It enables organizations to evaluate their current performance level and compare it with the standards of the National Model for Institutional Excellence. Organizations apply for the award and undergo an objective evaluation process conducted by several accredited assessors with expertise in evaluating organizations locally and regionally. The organization benefits from the feedback report to identify opportunities for improvement that can help enhance growth, competitive advantage, overall performance, and sustainability.
