HRDF and Energy Academy Empower Saudis in Technical Professions
Human Resources Development Fund has signed a cooperation agreement with the Energy and Water Academy to support the training and qualification of national talent in several technical professions. These include fields such as electricity, electromechanical maintenance, and occupational safety and health.
The signing took place in the presence of His Excellency, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Firas bin Abdulaziz Aba Al-Khail, Deputy Director General of HRDF for Business, and Mr. Tariq bin Mohammed Al-Shamrani, CEO of the Academy, during a ceremony in which the Minister launched a number of developmental opportunities in the Makkah region.
The agreement aims to implement specialized training programs to enhance the skills of the national workforce and provide job-linked training opportunities in line with labor market needs. It also seeks to promote professional, technical, and specialized training for job seekers.
Additionally, the agreement stipulates the formation of a joint working group between HRDF and the Academy to monitor the implementation of its terms and hold regular meetings to ensure the achievement of the set goals according to labor market demands.
