What is the Saudi Human Resources Gateway, and what is the aim of launching it?

The Saudi Human Resources Gateway is one of the initiatives launched by the Human Resources Development Fund “HRDF” to support the progress of HR practitioners in the Kingdom, create a leap forward in HR practice and building a unique Arabic content which will cater to the needs of all HR management interested parties and supply them with a specialized, comprehensive and updated content.

The Gateway is targeting to initiate a leap forward in HR management practice and help progress it as a thinking and practice. In addition to that, Saudi HR Gateway will include a source of HR guides which are considered to be best practices in various HR management fields. These guides have been used in more than 80 local companies covering small, medium and large organizations operating in different industries in the Kingdom and the gateway will enrich its content within time with experts’ contributions.

The Gateway has been established as an initiative by the Human Resources Development Fund and HRDF covered all the analysis costs to build, launch and operate the Gateway. Although HRDF is aiming that the Gateway reaches a stage where it could generate profits which could allow it to be independent in covering all the costs. This could be done through creating some income channels, such as premium services, commercial advertisements from service providers, tangible partnerships, commissions of products and services mentioned in the Gateway and finally, profits coming from the electronic store of the Gateway.
